Through comprehensive tests on samples of LGS sections with various geometries, the optimum geometry of LGS sections was investigated. In these tests, a UTM from NeoBuild Steel’s lab was used. Additionally, through testing of joists under uniform loads with various joist geometry properties, including the angle of joist elements and eccentricity of nodes, as well as width, the optimum geometry of joists was investigated. The results obtained significantly enhance the overall performance and reliability of LGS flooring systems, addressing vibration and noise concerns.
